Mission Statement

The Mission of Community Presbyterian Church is to worship with God’s people, to share Christ’s love and compassion and to serve the community and family of God.  We strive to practice Christianity in our daily lives, the community and the world.  Our goal is to be compassionate, caring and supportive, to accept all people, and to share our beliefs.  We are all children of God, participating in communion with Him and the world family.  Our vision for the future of our church is to glorify God through His son Jesus Christ with a spirit-filled church, to nurture our members and the community, and to offer a house of worship that is open to all.  We emphasize teaching and training our members and elders so they have the necessary skills to demonstrate by their actions and words Christ’s unconditional love, His compassion for all people, and service to others.  We also emphasize the sharing of God’s message of salvation and the effective stewardship of all the resources God has provided.
