Children's Worship
Our church provides a Children’s Worship opportunity on each Sunday during regular worship time. Children attend the first part of worship, hear a message for children, and then depart for a separate time of Children’s Worship in Darley Hall.
Children’s Programs
During the school year CPC offers two Wednesday afternoon programs for children. KLUB (Kids Living Under the Bible) is open to all pre-K through 5th grade children in Lake City, while .epic. is a similar program for Middle through High School students. Both groups have weekly meetings that include crafts, music, stories, games, and snacks!

KLUB Update_November_2009
"We are having a blast with the kids in KLUB this year! After VBS, I decided to incorporate Pre-K kids into the program. It has worked out wonderfully! There are lot more kids coming, so I needed to recruit some more help. Many of our volunteers are kids from the youth group.
This semester we are learning about the life and ministry of Jesus and the kids seem to remember a lot from the previous week's bible stories. It is absolutely amazing to watch these little ones learn about their Creator and get excited about it! Especially because the majority of the kids that attend KLUB are from families who do not attend church! My prayer is that they take what they have learned at KLUB home and share it with their parents.
The Christmas program this year is set for December 16th at 5 pm. I would love it if you could come and cheer the kids on as they tell the Christmas Story from the perspective of the animals in the stable. Thank you for supporting this program! It is such a beautiful ministry to be part of. We continue to need people to sign up to provide refreshments for Wednesday afternoons. It is a great time to love and serve the kids!

Vacation Bible School
Community Presbyterian Church annually offers a Vacation Bible School program during the month of July. VBS is for all children, grades K-5. It is a great way to help young disciples grow in their faith, and it’s lots of fun too! Volunteers are always needed.
2010 Vacation Bible School
This year's theme for VBS was "High Seas Expedition" which explored the depth of God through His word. It was held from July 12-16 and was a great success. Up to 27 children attended this fun and meaningful event which was again directed by Crystal Dady. She was helped by wonderful volunteers who served as Group Leaders, Station Leaders and Snack Providers. Thank you Crystal for your dedication and hard work for the youth of Lake City!! WOW!!
2009 Vacation Bible School
In 2009 the theme for VBS was the Apostle Paul and ancient Rome. The kids explored Rome where they met Paul, hid with other Christian believers in the underground church, and learned about first century Rome and its culture. It was held from July 6-10 for three hours each day. Activities included Bible stories, songs, crafts, video theater, outdoor games and delicious snacks. Crystal Dady was helped by eager volunteers and the kids enjoyed a chance to learn about Paul's travels and struggles while spreading Jesus' unending love.
2008 Vacation Bible School
Our 2008 VBS featured science as a theme, with the formal name "Power Lab!". Each day from July 14 to 18 up to 35 children gathered for three hours of Bible stories, singing, crafts, video theater, outdoor games, and snacks. VBS Director Crystal Dady was helped by fifteen volunteers. The children learned that Jesus gives us the power to be thankful, to help others, to be brave, to live forever, and to tell others about God. Everyone, both children and adults, had a terrific time learning and growing into stronger disciples.
